Drinks when picking up chicks at the pub.

Question

Is there a correlation between the drinks you can buy and the girl you are with?  If there is, is it related to how pretty she is or what her temperment is?  I'm just wondering because whenever I buy a drink, my alcohol level goes up but hers doesn't.  Is it because she doesn't like it, so doesn't drink it, or is it something else?
