how to transfer the leadership of a gang to another player?

Question

The boss of my gang has been away for 3 weeks and leadership automatically transfered to another player. Now we want to change that but the guy has some troubles finding out how to do it. Anyone kind enough to explain it here ?

in gang room click on the throne, click on my setting then make someone gang boss.
