What the level for the girls actually do?

I saw in actress page that they like or love some positions, but does this increase with level, or something like that? And for Working Girls, what do they gain with level?

Not entirely sure, but I think the level of girls increases their skills (hookers) and the level of actresses makes them like more positions, and the levels rise when you "use" them. Again, not 100% sure.

Also, I've noticed on one actress I got one of her favoured positions had 2stars, which obviously means she likes it more.
