What's the point of sabotage?

Everytime I try to sabotage someone it sends me to the hospital or backfires. Is it a pimp class I have to take for it to be successful?

Answer 1

No. It means that the opponent you tried to sabotage is stronger then you. I am not sure what parameters are included, but overall strength seems to depend on level, fighting points, weapon and probably trophies collected.

I think it works the other way around, otherwise what's the purpose. You must be weaker that your victim, It just worked for me 86 against 83
