Is there a cap on how much money you can put in a bank?

The bank doesn't let me deposit money in the bank anymore.  Does that mean there is a cap?  It is well over 2B

Yes, there's a cap of exactly 2 147 483 647. There's also the same cap on the amount of money you can carry with you.

The cap amount is the range of a signed 32-bit integer variable, 2^31-1.

You know, Ducky, I have once reported this as a bug - most of the limits related to the integer range are bugs. But I was told this was intentional, and they do not plan to change it in the foreseeable future. In fact, I noticed that while there's a cap, great care have been taken by the devs not to make players actually lose money on that limit - and that kind of things often happens if the limit is a bug.
