Is there either sound or music in the game ?

I have never heard either sounds or music.

Do you have them enabled? Check the top-right corner. I can hear them all right. The music plays all the time, and it's annoying, so I keep it disabled usually. And the sounds, while present, only happen after your action, and not for example when a movie is ready, or you've been attacked, so they're not much help anyway.
