It's a handful of thousand a time I believe, may be dependant of the genre of film - never really chceckd.  You can collect it via the little cash flag above the casting tent.

the money gain is small, but prestige (this is not an in-game skill) from pro movie covers is good. But therefore you need a good account pic and you have to send your actresses to the casting tent jobs, because i have noticed your chances of taking part in a pro movie rise with the number of jobs your actresses do. In the end it is the choice of the producer who is picked.
I personally prefer tits and ass;-)
